The answer is totally YES, voting is the moment when you can express your opinion about how is going to be the management of your country and this affects directly in many aspects of the all citizens lifes, like the education, health, social security, labor, etc. The right to vote ensures that your voice is heard, for that,   one thing that is equally or more important than voting, is getting informed, because if you don't know the topics what are you voting  one wrong decision could win. In my opinion, in all schools there should be civic education classes because this way, from a young age, they would learn how politics works and how important it's to be informed in order to vote.
